WHIP CRACKING AND ARCHERY:

A stock whip is a type of whip made of a long, tapered length of flexible, plaited leather with a stiff handle that is used when mustering cattle. Throughout Australia stockmen and drovers have used the stock whip since the early 19th century and it is still the preferred whip used by Australian cattlemen and women today. It was designed to move mobs of cattle by making it crack, which would encourage the mob to keep moving. It is not usually used for sheep. Enjoy watching an expert demonstration and then learn to crack the whip yourself and test your skills to see if you can hit the bullseye on the Archery target.
